This Week’s Featured Speaker

This week we are pleased to have as our speakers Hayden and Trent
Hidlay. The amazing Hidlay brothers are NCSU wrestlers and self-named
Brothers of Destruction. Hayden is the older and his career includes; 5 time
All-American, 4 time ACC Champion, 2020 ACC Wrestling Scholar Athlete
and finished his career placing third in the 2022 National Championships
all while carrying a 4.0 GPA. He has just accepted a position on the NCSU
wrestling staff as the Student-Athlete Development Coordinator.
Trent, a red-shirt Junior aims to match or exceed his brother’s
accomplishments. He already is a 3 time All-American, 2 time ACC
Champion, made the U23 U.S. World Championship team and was a 20-21
national finalist and placed 5th in this year’s NCAA Championships. Their
intense brotherly competition and humor should make for an interesting
meeting! Come join us this week, Wednesday, Agugst 31, 2022 for good
food, fun, and camaraderie.

Our Student-Athlete of the Week

As part of our weekly program, we recognize a local Wake County high
school student athlete! The student and coach speak briefly. This week we
will honor Wade Warren, an outstanding football player and track athlete
from Broughton H.S.

Meeting Details
Our meetings are held in Bradley Hall in Highland Methodist Church, 1901
Ridge Road at the intersection of Lake Boone Trail, just inside the Raleigh
Beltline. Buffet lines open at 11:30 a.m., and the meeting is from Noon until
1:00 p.m. on Wednesdays. Meetings typically occur every week (except
Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s holiday) early September through
late March. Please continue to check out the Raleigh Sports Club website
(www.raleighsportsclub.org) for details on the 2023-24 meeting season.

Weather Delay Policy????

Membership is $100 for the 2023-24 season. You can register or renew at the
check-in table…or by downloading and mailing to the address indicated on
the form found on the RSC website.

Member attendance fee is $20 per meeting whether eating or not. Guest fee
per meeting is a very affordable $25 whether eating or not!
